start send R&S records demo tape in 1998, mati:k's 1st album was out
on belgian label "SubRosa/Quatermass" in 1999. mati:k choose to
explore with a very personal approach the world of electro-orientated music:
crushed and distorted beats mixed with an accrurate sense of melodies placed
in an open field. have a good raputation for call "bangin' melodic
electronica". in 2000, mati:k started to play live performance in club somewhere. in 2001, mati:k contributed one track of his best dance tune for pause_2 recs is newcomer electronica label on Bristol U.K. (with metamatics, EU, com.a, etc...) in 2002, 2003 mati:k contributed 2 remix tracks of LeeNorris's 3 remix album projects "metamatics/rewired in my manor" (2002)、"nacht plank/lost and damaged" (2003) on Hydrogendukebox records (UK). lee meets all remixer in the neo ouija chat room. i come across experimental and interested scene of make the remix album. all our conversation and sending demofile and masterfile is on ICQ. even overseas, i'm sure that we do a common work together. in 2004, mati:k contributed one track for "imagiend records compilation" on Osaka Japan. ~Mati:k follows there directly and introduced Simmons Drums into verdaddelte Disco Elektronika. ~ from a review on www.de-bug.de |
